Sorry for the delay, folks! It's been a rough start for us this year, much like for many of you. We're back with more updates.
To be honest, gamers and tech bloggers shouldn't be against crypto. Crypto creates opportunities for more folks to attain wealth through investing with low barriers to entry. In fact, they can monetize their equipment to curb costs. When gamers have multiple platforms to game on, what sense does it make to leave that powerful PC just sitting there doing nothing? Why not just let it mine something other than Bitcoin and Ethereum while it's idle, and sell off the haul for a nice profit? Some coins are so easy to mine that one can get them while gaming. So, is crypto failing? Nope! This is a normal annual market trend. Might as well use that build to earn you some extra money and enjoy the ride before governments around the world ruin it with bad policies.
The best way to avoid disappointment is to live life without expectations. While the hype train keeps on puffing, take advantage of your right to disembark. You don't need to have the latest and greatest to have stellar gaming experiences. Be more flexible and creative. Are we finally seeing a pricing shift? We don't know. It's better to wait and see.
What's interesting is that Windows 11 works mostly fine if we don't launch the game store. So, we've been trying to get this sorted out because we need to test the build with this game. We also need to complete the setup. We tested it on the first monitor and a 4K TV, and the multi-GPU support worked quite well. However, we can't really show it off like that. We want to flex the dual displays, monitor arm, RGB gaming mouse, RGB keyboard, RGB fans, XXL mouse pad, and beautiful desk. What's even the point if it's not neat and pretty?
Epic, this isn't good! How can people buy games through you if they can't even install them? It took two tries to get Civilization VI installed, and we've already tried A Total War Saga: Troy MORE than two dozen times! We've sat through three store updates, we're fully up-to-date with Windows 11, and it's still failing. For starters, it should not take a 400 Mbps connection 16 hours to download that game. Secondly, the size of the game should NOT fluctuate between 16 GB and 42 GB per attempt. Third, we're running the store in Admin mode AND we adjusted our DNS settings. Fourth, your store shouldn't crash in a manner that causes Windows itself to fall apart. This wasn't a problem with Windows 10, so what's the deal with Windows 11? Please fix.
That's all we got, folks! Thanks for reading! Peace. It's officially 2022, folks. Happy New Year!We don't have much to discuss today. We took a couple of weeks off to enjoy the holidays because no one participated in our giveaway. And this is really strange because we have a following of hundreds of regular readers already. So, we did a little digging before we took off for Christmas. Come to find out, the overwhelming majority of our readers aren't citizens or residents of the US! 🤯 Whoops! Take our rather big mistake as a lesson about jumping to conclusions and not double checking the data. Always verify because your recollection could betray you. We're embarrassed, and we apologize for the oversight. That being the case, we're going to extend the giveaway and announce a new drawing date! Keep an eye out for new information as we revamp the giveaway. This also means that we're going to extend the reach of the giveaway as well, so we have to rework the budget to cover the cost of that shipping.
For those of you who are looking for a nice mouse that allows you to set a solid color and switch to a pattern with relative ease, we have a review coming up of a VERY attractive option. You would be able to find the software with ease because we'll link it to the review, and give you some advice on how to use all of it. Also, it's inexpensive, the seller is pretty great, it includes a suite of useful additions, and it has up to 8000 DPI! 🤤 We think it's pretty good looking too.
Other than that, we're going to revisit the custom build in the future to show off the full set up. We want to show you the themed out beauty of a workstation that we're putting together. You'll see our monitors, our mounting system, mouse, keyboard, XXL mouse pad or desk pad, speakers and stands, desk, cable management, etc. We'll be showing it off on YouTube as well! That's it! That's all we've got today! Thanks for joining us, and thanks for reading! ✌🏽 |
