Sometimes the best way to have more living space while maintaining a small footprint is to build up instead of out. We like that philosophy - especially since we don't want you to have to give up so many creature comforts in order to live in a more environmentally friendly way. That's what motivated us to try our hands at our own brand of tiny homes.
Inside you'll find a basement with water heater, HVAC, and laundry connections. The entrance leads you outside but you've got two more to get you into the house. You've got gathering space in the basement and ground floor, a small but full kitchen, full bathroom, and a large bedroom upstairs. It's roomier than a loft - especially if you're a giant. Sure, he'd have to sit down to stretch, but even James Harden could fit in this thing! :-D |
Tiny Home SWe promised you homes. We didn't forget that. This is only the start.
We figured we'd start with the tiny home trend and put our own spin on it. We didn't want to just copy, however, so we opted for something more stationary. Not everyone wants to be highly mobile. Some want a tiny home they can put down roots in. Not everyone wants the tiniest homes they can find. Some want high efficiency living and a smaller footprint, true, but they don't want to make all of the sacrifices to have that. You wouldn't believe what we squeezed into a floor area of only 270 sq ft. |
Tiny Home MWe had to give this one a little more space. It's 272 sq ft, but it's that way for a reason. See, we wanted to give you all a bit more storage and a different position for the front entrance. We also wanted to change the layout a touch so you can really see the possibilities. Take note of the slightly different shape of the structure. It really pairs well with the colors we chose.
Though it's only negligibly larger, the set up makes the home feel larger than it is. We even kept the hardwood floors for that satisfying reverb and noise reduction. Who wants to listen to the washer and dryer while they're trying to hear critical mission details in that new FPS, right? |
Just like the Tiny Home S, you'll get a nice basement here, replete with a half bath, washer and dryer connections, hot water heater, HVAC, and gathering space. Above ground you'll get gathering space, extra storage space, a full kitchen with a short bar (just cover the range to use it for eating), additional counter space, and a full bath.
Up in the penthouse you'll find the bedroom with a slightly different layout. With the altered shape, we were just able to shift a few things around and add shelves. That way you can easily spot the work space. The S model fits a full size bed with nightstands, queen size without nightstands, and was designed to be more for the collegiate crowd. The M model can fit a king size bed and was designed to be more for the home body. It's got a cozy and warm feel to it. |
Take a look at this beauty!
You'll have a finished basement with a half bath, HVAC, hot water heater, laundry connections, and gathering space. We also centered the exit. Above you'll find the usual full kitchen, full bathroom, storage, gathering space, and stairs leading up to the rather large bedroom. You can fit a lot in this one as well. You'll find a reasonably sized closet and stairs that lead straight up to an open space. There's room for a king size bed, work space, and several large windows for a flood of natural light. Bring as much small storage as you need and enjoy this large, utilitarian space! |
Tiny Home L The Tiny Home L is designed with the 80's Babies in mind. That's right! Generation Net! We gave this tiny home the most space and a more metropolitan feel. This is for the fast mover who needs multiple lanes in and out. Rocket down the stairs, dart past the television, and slide right out the door. Or you could grab a muffin on the way and fly out the kitchen exit. Not enough time for doors? Just dive out of the window waiting at the foot of the stairs and off you go. We're sure your neighbors won't mind too much.
This behemoth has 285 sq ft. of floor area for you to play with. Who says you can't live large in a tiny home? |
